Bordeaux
How far are the daily drives?
Distances are short, typically 20–30 minutes, allowing us to spend more time enjoying each place and less time on the road.
Is this primarily a wine tour?
Wine plays an important role, but always as part of a broader cultural experience that includes food, landscapes, and time shared around the table.
Are meals paired with wine?
Wine is often part of the meal experience, but participation is always optional and never excessive.
Will we visit both famous and lesser-known wine estates?
Yes. We balance visits to iconic appellations with time spent at smaller family-run estates, where personal connection and storytelling often make the experience even more memorable.
How active is the trip?
Moderate. Expect walking through villages with cobblestone streets, vineyards, and historic towns, always at a relaxed pace.
What kind of accommodation should we expect?
We stay in a historic 16th-century château surrounded by vineyards. In keeping with the historic layout of the residence, each bedroom shares a bathroom with just one other room — a charming feature typical of historic French homes.
Do I need wine knowledge to enjoy the trip?
Not at all. Curiosity matters far more than vocabulary. Our experiences focus on stories, people, and pleasure, never technical tastings.

Absolutely. Provence offers a wonderful balance of culture, food, scenery, and relaxed pace.

Light to moderate. Most walking takes place in villages, markets, and historic towns.
Will we visit local markets?
Yes. Markets are central to Provençal life and one of the highlights of the journey.
Tuscany
Are there cooking classes?
Yes. We spend time with our private chef learning the art of fresh pasta making, followed by dinner enjoying the dishes we have prepared together.
How active is the itinerary?
Moderate. Expect walking through hill towns, vineyards, and countryside settings.
What kind of meals can we expect?
Rustic, generous, and seasonal — often served family-style around the table.
Will we visit small villages as well as famous towns?
Yes. We balance iconic locations with quieter villages where everyday Tuscan life unfolds.
Is Tuscany focused more on food or wine?
Both equally. In Tuscany, food, wine, and landscape are inseparable.
Algarve
Is the itinerary relaxed?
Very much so. The Algarve invites slowing down and enjoying the rhythm of coastal life.

Everything from humble traditional dishes to refined regional specialties.
How is Catalunya different from the rest of Spain?
Catalunya has a strong culinary identity shaped by tradition, innovation, and regional pride.
Is the trip more urban or rural?
A balance of both — vibrant cities paired with countryside and coastal influences.
