Private Tours

How far in advance should we inquire?

Ideally 12–24 months in advance, as the villas and estates we use are unique properties with limited availability.

Is there a minimum group size?

Private journeys are typically designed for groups of 16–22 guests, depending on the destination and property.

Who are private journeys best suited for?

Families, groups of friends, milestone celebrations, or organizations looking for a shared experience.

Is the itinerary flexible?

We begin with our curated itineraries, but private groups allow us to adjust the rhythm and schedule to suit your preferences.

How do Private Culinary Journeys differ from hosted trips?

They offer the same Epicureans Co. depth and care but are reserved exclusively for your group.

Can we choose the destination and dates?

There is some flexibility when private journeys are booked before the public calendar is released, allowing us to coordinate dates.

How long are the Culinary Adventures?

Most journeys are 8 days and 7 nights.

Client Reviews

Just what I needed!! Val, Anthony and Erin were great hosts! I hadnt travelled to Europe in 30 years and was a bit aprehensive going alone but I felt welcomed and given the group was small, the experience was more intimate and I feel I made some good friends. The schedule was flexible and you could be as busy as you wanted, with the group or on your own. The meals were amazing...from breakfast straight through to dinner. I can't believe that the stay at the castle, the extensive, knowledge filled tours, meals, and wine, cooking class, as well as a personal touch from Anthony's family, came included at such a reasonable price. Epicureans went beyond what was expected and I would definitely go again and reccomend others do the same.
The Bordeaux/ St. Emillion tour my husband and I took in May 2025 was brilliantly coordinated by our hosts Val and Anthony. They enriched our experience with “castle” accommodations and carefully curated activities involving French food and all things wine. We met great friends for life and experienced Bordeaux in a very special way. If you like exceptional food and French wine, this is the trip for you. It is worry free and seamless. Val, Anthony and Erin ensure you have a very memorable experience. Bravo!
A once in a lifetime trip including wonderful visits to the food producers in the area, history told in a fun accessible way and delicious chef prepared meals made with fresh local ingredients and paired with incredible wines from the region. I loved every minute!
A truly beautiful and amazing experience. The people, the food, the day trips. A “pinch me” , is this real or am I dreaming. Anthony and Val are great hosts, their hearts and souls and smiles shine. Unique and authentic.
we've just returned home last night from our extended trip to italy which began with val and anthony and erin in florence, and their amazing culinary adventure in tuscany. in this age of "superstars" and "hypercars" it feels like we should be able to offer more than 5 stars. we travel a bit, and usually do our own planning. we have tried many different "genres" including cruise ships of different sizes, small riverboat cruises, and just plopping in and snooping about. with the exception of the river cruises, we had decided that "group stuff" was just not our thing. val and anthony and erin have now made themselves a very desirable addition to the list of "cool stuff to do".
